Only a Buddha can say: LOVE YOURSELF\u2026. No priest, nopolitician, can agree with it, because this is destroying their whole edifice,their whole structure of exploitation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u5982\u679c\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\u4e0d\u88ab\u5141\u8bb8\u7231\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4ed6\u7684\u7075\u9b42\u6bcf\u5929\u90fd\u4f1a\u8d8a\u6765\u8d8a\u865a\u5f31\u3002\u4ed6\u7684\u8eab\u4f53\u6216\u8bb8\u5728\u6210\u957f\uff0c\u4f46\u4ed6\u6ca1\u6709\u5185\u5728\u6210\u957f\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u4ed6\u6ca1\u6709\u5185\u5728\u7684\u6ecb\u517b\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If a man is not allowed to love himself, his spirit, his soul, becomes weaker and weaker every day. His body may grow but he has no inner growth, because he has no inner nourishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u4ed6\u4ecd\u7136\u53ea\u662f\u4e00\u526f\u7a7a\u58f3\uff0c\u51e0\u4e4e\u6ca1\u6709\u7075\u9b42\uff0c\u6216\u8005\u53ea\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u7075\u9b42\u7684\u6f5c\u80fd\u3001\u53ef\u80fd\u6027\u3002\u7075\u9b42\u4ecd\u7136\u662f\u9897\u79cd\u5b50\uff0c\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u627e\u4e0d\u5230\u6b63\u786e\u7684\u7231\u7684\u571f\u58e4\u7ed9\u5b83\uff0c\u5b83\u4f1a\u7ee7\u7eed\u5f53\u79cd\u5b50\u3002\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u542c\u4ece\u201c\u522b\u7231\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u201d\u8fd9\u4e2a\u611a\u8822\u7684\u60f3\u6cd5\uff0c\u4f60\u5c31\u4e0d\u4f1a\u627e\u5230\u571f\u58e4\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n He remains a body almost without a soul or with only apotentiality, a possibility, of a soul. The soul remains a seed, and it willremain a seed if you cannot find the right soil of love for it. And you will not find it if you follow the stupid idea: \u201cDon\u2019t love yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u6211\u4e5f\u6559\u5bfc\u6211\u7684\u95e8\u5f92\u4eec\u5148\u7231\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u8fd9\u8ddf\u81ea\u6211\u65e0\u5173\u3002\u4e8b\u5b9e\u4e0a\uff0c\u7231\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u5982\u6b64\u5f3a\u70c8\u7684\u5149\uff0c\u81ea\u6211\u7684\u9ed1\u6697\u5728\u5149\u4e2d\u6839\u672c\u65e0\u6cd5\u5b58\u5728\u3002\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u7231\u522b\u4eba\uff0c\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u7684\u7231\u805a\u7126\u5728\u522b\u4eba\u8eab\u4e0a\uff0c\u4f60\u5c31\u4f1a\u6d3b\u5728\u9ed1\u6697\u4e4b\u4e2d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n I also teach my sannyasins to love themselves first;it has nothing to do with ego. In fact, love is such a light that the darknessof the ego cannot exist in it at all. If you love others, if your love isfocused on others, you will live in darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u5148\u628a\u4f60\u7684\u5149\u7167\u5411\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u5148\u53d8\u6210\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u5149\u3002\u8ba9\u5149\u9a71\u6563\u4f60\u5185\u5fc3\u7684\u9ed1\u6697\uff0c\u4f60\u5185\u5fc3\u7684\u865a\u5f31\u3002\u8ba9\u7231\u628a\u4f60\u53d8\u6210\u4e00\u80a1\u5f3a\u5927\u7684\u529b\u91cf\uff0c\u4e00\u80a1\u7075\u6027\u529b\u91cf\u3002\u4e00\u65e6\u4f60\u7684\u7075\u9b42\u6709\u529b\u91cf\u4e86\uff0c\u4f60\u5c31\u4f1a\u660e\u767d\u4f60\u4e0d\u4f1a\u6b7b\uff0c\u4f60\u662f\u6c38\u6052\u7684\uff0c\u4f60\u662f\u4e0d\u673d\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Turn your light towards yourself first, become a light unto yourself first. Let the light dispel your inner darkness, your inne rweakness. Let love make you a tremendous power, a spiritual force. And once your soul is powerful you know you are not going to die, you are immortal, you are eternal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u7231\u8ba9\u4f60\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b21\u6d1e\u89c1\u6c38\u6052\uff0c\u7231\u662f\u552f\u4e00\u8d85\u8d8a\u65f6\u95f4\u7684\u4f53\u9a8c\u3002\u90a3\u5c31\u662f\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u7231\u4eba\u65e0\u60e7\u6b7b\u4ea1\uff1a\u7231\u4e0d\u77e5\u9053\u6b7b\u4ea1\u3002\u4e00\u77ac\u95f4\u7684\u7231\u80dc\u8fc7\u6574\u4e2a\u6c38\u6052\u3002\u4f46\u7231\u5fc5\u987b\u4ece\u5934\u5f00\u59cb\u3002\u7231\u5fc5\u987b\u4ece\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b65\u5f00\u59cb\uff1a\u7231\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u2026\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n Love gives you the first insight into eternity; loveis the only experience that transcends time. That\u2019s why lovers are not afraidof death: love knows no death. A single moment of love is more than a wholeeternity. But love has to begin from the very beginning. You have been condemned so much,and you have accepted all that condemnation. Now you go on doing harm toyourself. Nobody thinks himself worthy enough, nobody thinks himself abeautiful creation of God; nobody thinks that he is needed at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u90a3\u4e9b\u90fd\u662f\u6709\u6bd2\u7684\u60f3\u6cd5\uff0c\u4f46\u4f60\u5df2\u7ecf\u88ab\u6bd2\u5bb3\u4e86\u3002\u4f60\u5df2\u7ecf\u88ab\u4f60\u6bcd\u4eb2\u7684\u6bcd\u4e73\u6bd2\u5bb3\u4e86\u2014\u2014\u8fd9\u5df2\u7ecf\u6210\u4e86\u4f60\u7684\u6574\u4e2a\u8fc7\u53bb\u3002\u4eba\u7c7b\u6d3b\u5728\u9ed1\u538b\u538b\u7684\u81ea\u6211\u8c34\u8d23\u7684\u4e4c\u4e91\u4e4b\u4e0b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n These are poisonous ideas, but you have been poisoned.You have been poisoned with your mother\u2019s milk \u2014 and this has been your wholepast. Humanity has lived under a dark dark cloud of self-condemnation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u5982\u679c\u4f60\u8c34\u8d23\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4f60\u600e\u4e48\u80fd\u6210\u957f\uff1f\u4f60\u5982\u4f55\u80fd\u6210\u719f\uff1f\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u8c34\u8d23\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4f60\u5982\u4f55\u656c\u5949\u5b58\u5728\uff1f\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u65e0\u6cd5\u656c\u5949\u4f60\u5185\u5728\u7684\u5b58\u5728\uff0c\u4f60\u5c31\u65e0\u6cd5\u656c\u5949\u522b\u4eba\u5185\u5728\u7684\u5b58\u5728\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u3002\u53ea\u6709\u5f53\u4f60\u6781\u4e3a\u5c0a\u91cd\u4f4f\u5728\u4f60\u5185\u5728\u7684\u795e\u65f6\uff0c\u4f60\u624d\u80fd\u6210\u4e3a\u6574\u4f53\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you condemn yourself, how can you grow? How can youever become mature? And if you condemn yourself, how can you worship existence?If you cannot worship existence in you, you will become incapable of worshippingexistence in others; it will be impossible. You can become part of the whole only if you have great respect for the God that resides within you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u4f60\u662f\u4e3b\u4eba\uff0c\u795e\u662f\u4f60\u7684\u8d35\u5bbe\u3002\u901a\u8fc7\u7231\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4f60\u4f1a\u660e\u767d\uff1a\u795e\u9009\u4e86\u4f60\u6765\u5f53\uff08\u5de5\u5177\uff09\u7ba1\u9053\u3002\u5728\u9009\u62e9\u4f60\u5f53\u5de5\u5177\u65f6\uff0c\u4ed6\u5df2\u7ecf\u5c0a\u91cd\u4e86\u4f60\uff0c\u7231\u4e86\u4f60\u3002\u5728\u521b\u9020\u4f60\u65f6\uff0c\u4ed6\u5df2\u7ecf\u5411\u4f60\u5c55\u73b0\u4e86\u4ed6\u7684\u7231\u3002\u4ed6\u4e0d\u662f\u968f\u610f\u521b\u9020\u4f60\u7684\uff0c\u4ed6\u4e5f\u7ed9\u4e86\u4f60\u4e00\u4e2a\u4f60\u5fc5\u987b\u8981\u5b9e\u73b0\u7684\u4f7f\u547d\u3001\u6f5c\u80fd\u3001\u8363\u8000\u3002\u662f\u7684\uff0c\u795e\u7528\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u5f62\u8c61\u521b\u9020\u4e86\u4eba\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n You are a host, God is your guest. By loving yourself you will know this: that God has chosen you to be a vehicle. In choosing you tobe a vehicle he has already respected you, loved you. In creating you he hasshown his love for you. He has not made you accidentally; he has made you witha certain destiny, with a certain potential, with a certain glory that you haveto attain. Yes, God has created man in his own image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u4eba\u5fc5\u987b\u53d8\u6210\u795e\u3002\u9664\u975e\u4eba\u53d8\u6210\u795e\uff0c\u5426\u5219\u4e0d\u4f1a\u6709\u5706\u6ee1\uff0c\u4e0d\u4f1a\u6709\u6ee1\u8db3\u3002\u4f46\u4f60\u5982\u4f55\u80fd\u53d8\u6210\u795e\u5462\uff1f\u4f60\u7684\u7267\u5e08\u4eec\u8bf4\u4f60\u662f\u4e2a\u7f6a\u4eba\u3002\u4f60\u7684\u7267\u5e08\u4eec\u8bf4\u4f60\u5728\u52ab\u96be\u9003\uff0c\u4f60\u6ce8\u5b9a\u8981\u4e0b\u5730\u72f1\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u8ba9\u4f60\u975e\u5e38\u5bb3\u6015\u7231\u81ea\u5df1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Man has to become a god. Unless man becomes a godthere is going to be no fulfillment, no contentment. But how can you become agod? Your priests say that you are a sinner. Your priests say that you aredoomed, that you are bound to go to hell. And they make you very much afraid ofloving yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u8fd9\u662f\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u628a\u620f\uff1a\u65a9\u65ad\u7231\u7684\u6839\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u6781\u4e3a\u72e1\u733e\uff0c\u5168\u4e16\u754c\u6700\u72e1\u733e\u7684\u804c\u4e1a\u662f\u7267\u5e08\uff1b\u7136\u540e\u4ed6\u8bf4\uff1a\u7231\u522b\u4eba\u3002\u73b0\u5728\u8fd9\u4f1a\u662f\u865a\u5047\u7684\u3001\u4eba\u9020\u7684\uff0c\u4e00\u79cd\u81ea\u8d1f\uff0c\u4e00\u79cd\u8868\u6f14\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is their trick: to cut the very root of love. Andthey are very cunning people, the most cunning profession in the world is thatof the priest; then he says: Love others. Now it is going to be plastic,synthetic, a pretension, a performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u4ed6\u4eec\u8bf4\uff1a\u73b0\u5728\u7231\u5168\u4eba\u7c7b\u3001\u4f60\u7684\u7956\u56fd\u3001\u4f60\u7684\u5bb6\u4e61\u3001\u751f\u547d\u3001\u5b58\u5728\u3001\u4e0a\u5e1d\u3002\u5938\u5938\u5176\u8c08\uff0c\u4f46\u6beb\u65e0\u610f\u4e49\u3002\u4f60\u6709\u78b0\u5230\u8fc7\u5168\u4eba\u7c7b\u5417\uff1f\u4f60\u603b\u662f\u9047\u5230\u4e2a\u4eba\u2014\u2014\u4f60\u8c34\u8d23\u4e86\u81ea\u5df1\u9047\u5230\u7684\u7b2c\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\uff0c\u90a3\u5c31\u662f\u4f60\u3002\u4f60\u4e0d\u66fe\u5c0a\u91cd\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4e0d\u66fe\u7231\u81ea\u5df1\u3002\u73b0\u5728\u4f60\u4e00\u8f88\u5b50\u90fd\u4f1a\u6d6a\u8d39\u5230\u8c34\u8d23\u522b\u4eba\u4e0a\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n They say: Now love humanity, your mother country, yourmotherland, life, existence, God. Big words, but utterly meaningless. Have youever come across humanity? You always come across human beings \u2014 and you havecondemned the first human being that you came across, that is you. You have notrespected yourself, not loved yourself. Now your whole life will be wasted incondemning others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u90a3\u5c31\u662f\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u4eba\u4eec\u8fd9\u4e48\u64c5\u957f\u5439\u6bdb\u6c42\u75b5<\/strong>\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u53d1\u73b0\u81ea\u5df1\u8eab\u4e0a\u7684\u6bdb\u75c5\u2014\u2014\u4ed6\u4eec\u600e\u4e48\u80fd\u907f\u514d\u6311\u522b\u4eba\u8eab\u4e0a\u540c\u6837\u7684\u6bdb\u75c5\uff1f\u4e8b\u5b9e\u4e0a\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u4f1a\u627e\u5230\u8fd9\u4e9b\u6bdb\u75c5\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u4f1a\u5c06\u5176\u653e\u5927\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u4f1a\u628a\u5b83\u5f04\u5f97\u5c3d\u53ef\u80fd\u7684\u5927\u3002\u90a3\u4f3c\u4e4e\u662f\u552f\u4e00\u7684\u6551\u547d\u7a3b\u8349\uff0c\u5728\u67d0\u79cd\u7a0b\u5ea6\u4e0a\uff0c\u4e3a\u4e86\u9762\u5b50\uff0c\u4f60\u4e0d\u5f97\u4e0d\u8fd9\u6837\u505a\u3002\u90a3\u5c31\u662f\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u6709\u8fd9\u4e48\u591a\u7684\u6279\u8bc4\u6307\u8d23\uff0c\u7231\u5374\u5982\u6b64\u532e\u4e4f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n That\u2019s why people are such great fault-finders. Theyfind fault with themselves \u2014 how can they avoid finding the same faults inothers? In fact, they will find them and they will magnify them, they will makethem as big as possible. That seems to be the only saving device; somehow, tosave face, you have to do it. That\u2019s why there is so much criticism and such alack of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u6211\u8bf4\u8fd9\u662f\u4f5b\u9640\u6700\u6df1\u523b\u7684\u7ecf\u6587\u4e4b\u4e00\uff0c\u53ea\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u89c9\u9192\u8005\u80fd\u7ed9\u4e88\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u6d1e\u89c1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n I say this is one of the most profound sutras ofBuddha, and only an awakened person can give you such an insight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u4ed6\u8bf4\uff1a\u7231\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u2026\u2026\u8fd9\u80fd\u6210\u4e3a\u5f7b\u5e95\u8715\u53d8\u7684\u57fa\u7840<\/strong>\u3002\u522b\u5bb3\u6015\u7231\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u3002\u5168\u7136\u7684\u7231\uff0c\u4f60\u4f1a\u60ca\u8bb6\uff1a\u4e00\u65e6\u4f60\u80fd\u6446\u8131\u6240\u6709\u7684\u81ea\u6211\u8c34\u8d23\u3001\u4e0d\u81ea\u91cd\uff0c\u4f60\u5c31\u80fd\u6446\u8131\u539f\u7f6a\u8fd9\u4e00\u60f3\u6cd5\uff0c\u4e00\u65e6\u4f60\u80fd\u89c6\u81ea\u5df1\u662f\u503c\u5f97\u7684<\/strong>\u3001\u88ab\u795e\u7231\u7740\u7684\uff0c\u4f60\u5c31\u4f1a\u6d3b\u5728\u6781\u4e50\u91cc\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n He says: LOVE YOURSELF\u2026. This can become thefoundation of a radical transformation. Don\u2019t be afraid of loving yourself.Love totally, and you will be surprised: the day you can get rid of allself-condemnation, self-disrespect, the day you can get rid of the idea oforiginal sin, the day you can think of yourself as worthy and loved by God,will be a day of great blessing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u4ece\u6b64\uff0c\u4f60\u5f00\u59cb\u5728\u4eba\u4eec\u7684\u771f\u5b9e\u4e4b\u5149\u91cc\u770b\u89c1\u4ed6\u4eec\uff0c\u4f60\u4f1a\u5fc3\u751f\u6148\u60b2\u3002\u5b83\u4e0d\u662f\u57f9\u517b\u51fa\u6765\u7684\u6148\u60b2\uff0c\u5b83\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u81ea\u7136\u7684\u3001\u81ea\u53d1\u7684\u6d41\u9732\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n From that day onwards you will start seeing people intheir true light, and you will have compassion. And it will not be a cultivatedcompassion; it will be a natural, spontaneous flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u4e00\u4e2a\u7231\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u4eba\u9759\u5fc3\u5f88\u5bb9\u6613\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u9759\u5fc3\u610f\u5473\u7740\u8ddf\u81ea\u5df1\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\u3002\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u6068\u81ea\u5df1\u2014\u2014\u4f60\u786e\u5b9e\u5982\u6b64\uff0c\u4f60\u4e00\u76f4\u88ab\u544a\u8beb\u8981\u8fd9\u6837\u505a\uff0c\u4f60\u4e00\u76f4\u5f88\u8654\u8bda\u7684\u9075\u5b88\u8fd9\u4e00\u70b9\u2014\u2014\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u6068\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4f60\u5982\u4f55\u8ddf\u81ea\u5df1\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\uff1f\u9759\u5fc3\u53ea\u662f\u4eab\u53d7\u4f60\u7f8e\u4e3d\u7684\u5355\u72ec\uff0c\u5e86\u795d\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u90a3\u5c31\u662f\u9759\u5fc3\u7684\u5168\u90e8\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n And a person who loves himself can easily becomemeditative, because meditation means being with yourself. If you hate yourself\u2013 as you do, as you have been told to do, and you have been following it religiously\u2013 if you hate yourself, how can you be with yourself? And meditation isnothing but enjoying your beautiful aloneness, celebrating yourself; that\u2019swhat meditation is all about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u9759\u5fc3\u4e0d\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u5173\u7cfb\uff0c\u6839\u672c\u4e0d\u9700\u8981\u5bf9\u65b9\uff0c\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u5c31\u591f\u4e86\u3002\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\u6c90\u6d74\u5728\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u8363\u5149\u4e4b\u4e2d\uff0c\u6c90\u6d74\u5728\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u5149\u91cc\u3002\u4ed6\u5145\u6ee1\u559c\u60a6\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u4ed6\u5145\u6ee1\u6d3b\u529b\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u4ed6\u5982\u662f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meditation is not a relationship; the other is notneeded at all, one is enough unto oneself. One is bathed in one\u2019s own glory,bathed in one\u2019s own light. One is simply joyous because one is alive, becauseone is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u4e16\u4e0a\u6700\u4f1f\u5927\u7684\u5947\u8ff9\u662f\uff1a\u4f60\u5982\u662f\uff0c\u6211\u5982\u662f\u3002\uff08\u5b58\uff09\u5728\u662f\u6700\u4f1f\u5927\u7684\u5947\u8ff9\uff0c\u9759\u5fc3\u6253\u5f00\u4e86\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4f1f\u5927\u5947\u8ff9\u7684\u95e8\u3002\u4f46\u53ea\u6709\u7231\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u4eba\u80fd\u9759\u5fc3\uff0c\u5426\u5219\u4f60\u4f1a\u4e0d\u505c\u7684\u9003\u907f\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u9003\u79bb\u81ea\u5df1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n The greatest miracle in the world is that you are,that I am. To BE is the greatest miracle, and meditation opens the doors ofthis great miracle. But only a man who loves himself can meditate; otherwiseyou are always escaping from yourself, avoiding yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u8c01\u60f3\u770b\u4e00\u5f20\u4e11\u8138\uff0c\u8c01\u60f3\u6df1\u5165\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e11\u964b\u4e4b\u4eba\u7684\u5fc3\uff1f\u8c01\u60f3\u6df1\u5165\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u6ce5\u6f6d\uff0c\u6df1\u5165\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u9ed1\u6697\uff1f\u8c01\u60f3\u8fdb\u5165\u81ea\u5df1\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5730\u72f1\uff1f\u4f60\u60f3\u7528\u7f8e\u4e3d\u7684\u82b1\u6735\u76d6\u4f4f\u8fd9\u4e00\u5207\uff0c\u4f60\u603b\u662f\u60f3\u9003\u79bb\u81ea\u5df1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Who wants to look at an ugly face and who wants topenetrate into an ugly being? Who wants to go deep into one\u2019s own mud, intoone\u2019s own darkness? Who wants to enter into the hell that you think you are?You want to keep this whole thing covered up with beautiful flowers and youwant always to escape from yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u6240\u4ee5\u4eba\u4eec\u4e0d\u505c\u7684\u5bfb\u627e\u540c\u4f34\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u65e0\u6cd5\u8ddf\u81ea\u5df1\u5171\u5904\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u60f3\u8ddf\u522b\u4eba\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\u3002\u4eba\u4eec\u5bfb\u627e\u4efb\u4f55\u7c7b\u578b\u7684\u540c\u4f34\uff0c\u5982\u679c\u4ed6\u4eec\u80fd\u9003\u5f00\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4ec0\u4e48\u4e8b\u60c5\u90fd\u884c\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u4f1a\u5728\u5f71\u9662\u91cc\u5750\u4e09\u4e2a\u5c0f\u65f6\uff0c\u770b\u4e00\u4e9b\u611a\u8822\u900f\u9876\u7684\u7535\u5f71\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u4f1a\u8fde\u7eed\u51e0\u4e2a\u5c0f\u65f6\u9605\u8bfb\u4fa6\u63a2\u5c0f\u8bf4\uff0c\u865a\u5ea6\u5149\u9634\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u4f1a\u4e0d\u505c\u7684\u9605\u8bfb\u540c\u4e00\u4efd\u62a5\u7eb8\uff0c\u53ea\u4e3a\u8ba9\u81ea\u5df1\u5fd9\u788c\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u4f1a\u73a9\u724c\u3001\u8c61\u68cb\u6765\u6253\u53d1\u65f6\u95f4\u2014\u2014\u597d\u50cf\u4ed6\u4eec\u65f6\u95f4\u592a\u591a\u4e86\uff01<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hence people are seeking company continuously. Theycan\u2019t be with themselves; they want to be with others. People are seeking anytype of company; if they can avoid the company of themselves anything will do.They will sit in a movie house for three hours seeing something utterly stupid.They will read a detective novel for hours, wasting their time. They will readthe same newspaper again and again just to keep themselves engaged. They willplay cards and chess just to kill time \u2014 as if they have too much time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u6211\u4eec\u5e76\u6ca1\u6709\u592a\u591a\u65f6\u95f4\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5e76\u6ca1\u6709\u8db3\u591f\u7684\u65f6\u95f4\u6210\u957f\u3001\u5b58\u5728\u3001\u5e86\u795d\u3002\u4f46\u8fd9\u662f\u7531\u9519\u8bef\u7684\u6559\u80b2\u5bfc\u81f4\u7684\u57fa\u672c\u95ee\u9898\u4e4b\u4e00\uff1a\u4f60\u9003\u907f\u81ea\u5df1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n We don\u2019t have too much time; we don\u2019t have time enoughto grow, to be, to rejoice. But this is one of the basic problems created by awrong upbringing: you avoid yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u4eba\u4eec\u5728\u7535\u89c6\u673a\u9762\u524d\u4e00\u5750\u5c31\u662f\u4e94\u516d\u4e2a\u5c0f\u65f6\u3002\u7f8e\u56fd\u4eba\u5e73\u5747\u6bcf\u5929\u770b5\u5c0f\u65f6\u7535\u89c6\uff0c\u8fd9\u79cd\u75be\u75c5\u6ce8\u5b9a\u4f1a\u5e2d\u5377\u5168\u7403\u3002\u4f60\u5728\u770b\u4ec0\u4e48\uff0c\u4f60\u5f97\u5230\u7684\u53c8\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f\u707c\u4f24\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u53cc\u773c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n People are sitting before their TV\u2019s glued to theirchairs, for four, five, even six hours. The average American is watching TVfive hours per day, and this disease is going to spread all over the world. Andwhat are you seeing and what are you getting? Burning your eyes\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u56e0\u4e3a\u7535\u89c6\u673a\u662f\u4e16\u4e0a\u7b2c\u4e00\u4e2a\u4f60\u76f4\u89c6\u5149\u6e90\u7684\u4e1c\u897f\u3002\u901a\u5e38\u4f60\u4ece\u4e0d\u76f4\u89c6\u5149\u6e90\u2014\u2014\u4f60\u770b\u7684\u662f\u88ab\u7167\u4eae\u7684\u7269\u4f53\u3002\u4f60\u4e0d\u4f1a\u76f4\u89c6\u592a\u9633\uff0c\u4f60\u4f1a\u76f4\u89c6\u73ab\u7470\u2014\u2014\u592a\u9633\u7167\u5c04\u5230\u73ab\u7470\u4e0a\u3002\u4f60\u76f4\u89c6\u7eff\u6811\uff0c\u4f60\u76f4\u89c6\u4eba\u4eec\u7684\u8138\u3002\u4f60\u4e0d\u4f1a\u76f4\u89c6\u7535\u706f\u6ce1\uff0c\u4f60\u76f4\u89c6\u5899\u4e0a\u7684\u753b\u3002\u5982\u679c\u6ca1\u6709\u5149\uff0c\u4f60\u5c31\u770b\u4e0d\u5230\u5899\u4e0a\u7684\u753b\uff0c\u4f46\u4f60\u5e76\u4e0d\u76f4\u89c6\u5149\u6e90\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u90a3\u4f1a\u707c\u4f24\u4f60\u8106\u5f31\u7684\u53cc\u773c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because TV is the first thing in the world in whichyou have to look at the very source of the light. Ordinarily you never look atthe light itself \u2014 you look at lighted objects. You don\u2019t look at the sun; youlook at the rose \u2014 the sun is shining on the rose. You look at the greentrees, you look at people\u2019s faces. You don\u2019t look at the electric bulb itself;you look at the painting on the wall. You will not be able to see the paintingif the light is not there, but you don\u2019t look directly at the source of lightbecause that burns the very delicate mechanism of your eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u73b0\u5728\u770b\u7535\u89c6\u4f60\u662f\u76f4\u89c6\u5149\u6e90\u3002\u7535\u5f71\u6bd4\u7535\u89c6\u597d\u591a\u4e86\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u81f3\u5c11\u4f60\u5e76\u4e0d\u76f4\u89c6\u5149\u6e90\u3002\u7535\u89c6\u673a\u9020\u6210\u4e86\u975e\u5e38\u591a\u7684\u75be\u75c5\uff0c\u73b0\u5728\u4ed6\u4eec\u6000\u7591\u764c\u75c7\u751a\u81f3\u90fd\u6709\u53ef\u80fd\u662f\u7535\u89c6\u673a\u9020\u6210\u7684\u3002\u4eba\u4eec\u6ce8\u5b9a\u5f88\u5feb\u4f1a\u53d1\u73b0\u4e00\u4e9b\u65b0\u7684\u75be\u75c5\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u6bcf\u5929\u770b\u4e94\u516d\u5c0f\u65f6\u7535\u89c6\u7684\u8fd9\u4ee3\u4eba\u6b63\u5728\u957f\u5927\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now in TV you are looking directly at the source of thelight. A movie is far better than TV, because at least you are not lookingdirectly at the source of light. TV is creating so many diseases, now they aresuspecting that even cancer may be one of those diseases caused by TV. And afew more new diseases are bound to be discovered soon, because the generationthat is looking at TV for five, six hours per day is growing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u4f46\u60c5\u51b5\u4e00\u76f4\u5982\u6b64\uff0c\u5373\u4fbf\u6ca1\u6709\u7535\u89c6\uff0c\u4e5f\u6709\u522b\u7684\u4e1c\u897f\u3002\u95ee\u9898\u662f\u4e00\u6837\u7684\uff1a\u5982\u4f55\u9003\u907f\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\u89c9\u5f97\u81ea\u5df1\u5982\u6b64\u4e11\u964b\u3002\u662f\u8c01\u628a\u4f60\u53d8\u7684\u8fd9\u4e48\u4e11\u964b\uff1f\u4f60\u4eec\u6240\u8c13\u7684\u5b97\u6559\u4eba\u58eb\uff0c\u4f60\u4eec\u7684\u6559\u7687\uff0c\u4f60\u4eec\u7684\u5546\u7faf\u7f57\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u8981\u4e3a\u4f60\u4eec\u626d\u66f2\u7684\u9762\u5b54\u8d1f\u8d23\uff0c\u800c\u4ed6\u4eec\u6210\u529f\u4e86\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u8ba9\u6bcf\u4e2a\u4eba\u53d8\u7684\u4e11\u964b\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n But this has always been so; even if the TV were notthere, there are other things. The problem is the same: how to avoid oneself,because one feels so ugly. And who has made you so ugly? \u2014 your so-calledreligious people, your popes, your SHANKARACHARYAS. They are responsible for distortingyour faces and they have succeeded. They have made everybody ugly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u6bcf\u4e2a\u5b69\u5b50\u751f\u6765\u90fd\u662f\u7f8e\u7684\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u6211\u4eec\u5f00\u59cb\u626d\u66f2\u4ed6\u7684\u7f8e\u4e3d\uff0c\u7528\u5404\u79cd\u65b9\u5f0f\u524a\u5f31\u4ed6\uff0c\u7528\u5404\u79cd\u65b9\u5f0f\u628a\u4ed6\u5f04\u6b8b\uff0c\u626d\u66f2\u4ed6\uff0c\u8ba9\u4ed6\u5931\u8861\u3002\u8fdf\u65e9\u4ed6\u4f1a\u6781\u4e3a\u538c\u6076\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4ee5\u81f3\u4e8e\u4ed6\u968f\u65f6\u51c6\u5907\u597d\u4e86\u8ddf\u522b\u4eba\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\u3002\u4e3a\u4e86\u9003\u907f\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4ed6\u6216\u8bb8\u4f1a\u53bb\u5ad6\u5993\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each child is born beautiful, and then we startdistorting his beauty, crippling him in many ways, paralyzing him in many ways,distorting his proportion, making him unbalanced. Sooner or later he becomes sodisgusted with himself that he is ready to be with anybody. He may go to aprostitute just to avoid himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u7231\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4f5b\u9640\u8bf4\u3002\u8fd9\u80fd\u8715\u53d8\u5168\u4e16\u754c\u3002\u5b83\u80fd\u6467\u6bc1\u6574\u4e2a\u4e11\u964b\u7684\u8fc7\u53bb\u3002\u5b83\u80fd\u5f00\u542f\u4e00\u4e2a\u65b0\u65f6\u4ee3\uff0c\u5b83\u80fd\u6210\u4e3a\u65b0\u4eba\u7c7b\u7684\u5f00\u7aef\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n LOVE YOURSELF\u2026, says Buddha. And this can transformthe whole world. It can destroy the whole ugly past. It can herald a new age,it can be the beginning of a new humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u4e3b\u5f20\u7231\u2014\u2014\u4f46\u7231\u662f\u4ece\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u5f00\u59cb\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u5b83\u624d\u80fd\u6269\u6563\u5f00\u6765\u3002\u5b83\u4f1a\u81ea\u884c\u6269\u6563\u5f00\u6765\uff0c\u4f60\u4e0d\u9700\u8981\u505a\u4efb\u4f55\u4e8b\u5c06\u5176\u52a0\u901f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hence my insistence on love \u2014 but love begins withyou yourself, then it can go on spreading. It goes on spreading of its ownaccord; you need not do anything to spread it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u7231\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4f5b\u9640\u8bf4\u3002\u7136\u540e\u4ed6\u9a6c\u4e0a\u63a5\u7740\u8bf4\uff1a\u89c2\u7167\u2026\u2026\u90a3\u662f\u9759\u5fc3\uff0c\u90a3\u662f\u4f5b\u9640\u5bf9\u9759\u5fc3\u7684\u79f0\u8c13\u3002\u4f46\u7b2c\u4e00\u4e2a\u8981\u6c42\u662f\u7231\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u624d\u662f\u89c2\u7167\u3002\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u4e0d\u7231\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u5c31\u76f4\u63a5\u5f00\u59cb\u89c2\u7167\uff0c\u4f60\u4f1a\u89c9\u5f97\u50cf\u662f\u81ea\u6740\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n LOVE YOURSELF\u2026, says Buddha. And then immediately headds: AND WATCH\u2026. That is meditation, that is Buddha\u2019s name for meditation.But the first requirement is to love yourself, and then watch. If you don\u2019tlove yourself and start watching, you may feel like committing suicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u5f88\u591a\u4f5b\u6559\u5f92\u60f3\u81ea\u6740\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u4ed6\u4eec\u6ca1\u7559\u610f\u7ecf\u6587\u7684\u7b2c\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u7acb\u523b\u8df3\u5230\u4e86\u7b2c\u4e8c\u90e8\u5206\u4e0a\uff1a\u89c2\u7167\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u3002\u4e8b\u5b9e\u4e0a\uff0c\u6211\u4ece\u6ca1\u89c1\u8fc7\u6709\u4efb\u4f55\u5bf9\u300a\u6cd5\u53e5\u7ecf\u300b\uff0c\u5bf9\u4f5b\u9640\u7684\u90a3\u4e9b\u7ecf\u6587\uff0c\u5bf9\u7b2c\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u201c\u7231\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u201d\u7684\u5173\u6ce8\u548c\u8bc4\u6ce8\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Many Buddhists feel like committing suicide becausethey don\u2019t pay attention to the first part of the sutra, they immediately jumpto the second: watch yourself. In fact, I have never come across a singlecommentary on THE DHAMMAPADA, on these sutras of the Buddha, which has paid anyattention to the first part: LOVE YOURSELF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u82cf\u683c\u62c9\u5e95\u8bf4\uff1a\u77e5\u6653\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u3002\u4f5b\u9640\u8bf4\uff1a\u7231\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u3002\u4f5b\u9640\u771f\u5b9e\u591a\u4e86\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u9664\u975e\u4f60\u7231\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u5426\u5219\u4f60\u6c38\u8fdc\u4e0d\u4f1a\u77e5\u6653\u81ea\u5df1\u2014\u2014\u77e5\u6653\u662f\u968f\u540e\u7684\uff0c\u7231\u6253\u597d\u57fa\u7840\u3002\u7231\u662f\u77e5\u6653\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u53ef\u80fd\u6027\uff0c\u7231\u662f\u77e5\u6653\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u6b63\u786e\u4e4b\u8def\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n Socrates says: Know thyself, Buddha says: Lovethyself. And Buddha is far more true, because unless you love yourself you willnever know yourself \u2014 knowing comes only later on, love prepares the ground.Love is the possibility of knowing oneself, love is the right way to knowoneself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u6211\u66fe\u8ddf\u4e00\u4e2a\u4f5b\u6559\u5f92Jagdish Kashyap\u4f4f\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\uff0c\u73b0\u5728\u4ed6\u5df2\u7ecf\u6b7b\u4e86\u3002\u4ed6\u662f\u4e2a\u597d\u4eba\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u8c08\u5230\u300a\u6cd5\u53e5\u7ecf\u300b\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u6765\u5230\u8fd9\u6bb5\u7ecf\u6587\u4e0a\uff0c\u4ed6\u5f00\u59cb\u8c08\u8bba\u89c2\u7167\uff0c\u5c31\u50cf\u4ed6\u6839\u672c\u6ca1\u8bfb\u8fc7\u7b2c\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u3002\u4f20\u7edf\u7684\u4f5b\u6559\u5f92\u4ece\u6ca1\u5728\u610f\u7b2c\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u4ed6\u76f4\u63a5\u8df3\u4e86\u8fc7\u53bb\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n I was staying once with a Buddhist monk, JagdishKashyap; he is now dead. He was a good man. We were talking about THEDHAMMAPADA and we came across this sutra, and he started talking aboutwatching, as if he had not read the first part at all. No traditional Buddhistever pays any attention to the first part; he simply bypasses it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u6211\u5bf9Jagdish Kashyap\u8bf4\uff0c\u201c\u7b49\u4e0b\uff01\u4f60\u5ffd\u89c6\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u975e\u5e38\u6839\u672c\u7684\u4e1c\u897f\u3002\u89c2\u7167\u662f\u7b2c\u4e8c\u6b65\uff0c\u4f60\u628a\u5b83\u53d8\u6210\u4e86\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b65\uff0c\u89c2\u7167\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u662f\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b65\u3002\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n I said to Bhikshu Jagdish Kashyap, \u201cWait! You areoverlooking something very essential. Watching is the second step and you aremaking it the first step, and it cannot be the first step.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u63a5\u7740\u4ed6\u91cd\u8bfb\u4e86\u4e00\u904d\u7ecf\u6587\uff0c\u4ed6\u5e26\u7740\u8ff7\u60d1\u7684\u773c\u795e\u8bf4\uff0c\u201c\u6211\u4e00\u8f88\u5b50\u90fd\u5728\u8bf5\u8bfb\u300a\u6cd5\u53e5\u7ecf\u300b\uff0c\u6211\u8bfb\u4e86\u4e0a\u767e\u4e07\u904d\u4e86\u2014\u2014\u8bf5\u8bfb\u6cd5\u53e5\u7ecf\u662f\u6211\u6bcf\u5929\u65e9\u4e0a\u7684\u7977\u544a\uff0c\u6211\u5012\u80cc\u5982\u6d41\uff0c\u4f46\u6211\u4ece\u6ca1\u60f3\u8fc7\u2019\u7231\u4f60\u81ea\u5df1\u2019\u662f\u9759\u5fc3\u7684\u7b2c\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u89c2\u7167\u662f\u7b2c\u4e8c\u90e8\u5206\u3002\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Then he read the sutra again and he said withmystified eyes, \u201cI have been reading THE DHAMMAPADA my whole life and Imust have read this sutra millions of times \u2014 it is my everyday morning prayerto go through THE DHAMMAPADA, I can repeat it simply from memory, but I havenever thought that \u2018Love yourself\u2019 is the first part of meditation and watchingis the second part.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u5168\u4e16\u754c\u65e0\u6570\u4f5b\u6559\u5f92\u90fd\u662f\u8fd9\u6837\uff0c\u65b0\u65f6\u4ee3\u7684\u4f5b\u6559\u5f92\u4e5f\u662f\u5982\u6b64\u2014\u2014\u56e0\u4e3a\u4f5b\u6559\u6b63\u5728\u897f\u65b9\u6269\u5c55\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n And this is the case with millions of Buddhists allover the world, and this is the case with neo-Buddhists also \u2014 because in theWest Buddhism is now spreading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u4f5b\u9640\u7684\u65f6\u4ee3\u5df2\u7ecf\u6765\u5230\u4e86\u897f\u65b9\u3002\u73b0\u5728\u897f\u65b9\u51c6\u5907\u597d\u4e86\u53bb\u7406\u89e3\u4f5b\u9640\uff0c\u4f46\u4ed6\u4eec\u4e5f\u72af\u4e86\u540c\u6837\u7684\u9519\u8bef\u3002\u6ca1\u4eba\u8ba4\u4e3a\u201c\u7231\u81ea\u5df1\u201d\u5fc5\u987b\u662f\u77e5\u6653\u81ea\u5df1\u3001\u89c2\u7167\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u57fa\u7840\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u9664\u975e\u4f60\u7231\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u5426\u5219\u4f60\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u9762\u5bf9\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u4f60\u4f1a\u9003\u907f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n The time for Buddha has come in the West. Now the West is ready to understand Buddha, and the same mistake is being made there too.
